I first met Merissa & Will for their Blue Mountains engagement shoot. After capturing their newly engaged love at sunrise atop the mountains, we enjoyed good coffee and chats. I knew their values for what matters most would make their Blue Mountains wedding a true reflection of them. Set at the rustic Collits Inn, surrounded by stunning scenery, animals and their favourite people. Their vows promised to value family and spending time in nature together. And spend time in nature they did with horses, lambs, a calf and their own fur baby dogs.
It was a particularly cool spring wedding in the Blue Mountains, Sydney with one of the coldest nights they’ve had all year, fire pits and blankets added to it’s charm.
The couple chose to do a ‘first look’ as well as their bridal party photos before the ceremony so they could enjoy the time with their guests. During the reception, a classic round of ‘The Shoe Game’ revealed some very exciting news to their guests also – that they’ll be expecting their first child next year! A gorgeous moment to capture as part of their Wedding Chapter. Huge congratulations to Mr & Mrs Pye + bump!
