The Wedding Chapter of Henna & SimonReading Wedding, UK

Henna and Simon’s Reading wedding was like no other I’ve ever captured. It was a real family focused celebration with half of the guests being kids. There was no shortage of entertainment, cute moments to capture and continuous trip hazards – sorry little dude for the tumble. Henna and Simon had their two children join them at the altar of the 750 year old church in the quaint village of Swallowfield.

Originally from the UK and based in Sydney for most of the year, I jumped at the opportunity for a UK summer as a Reading wedding photographer. And oh what a summer it was. Probably the best summer the UK has seen, the sun shone most days of the 3 months I was there, I spent much of the time in shock that wellies (gum boots for the Aussies) were not required!

The reception was held at the Georgian hotel, The Mill House, with lawn games and a bouncy castle for the kids.
